For 32 years Child Advocates of Fort Bend has been showcasing homes lavishly decorated for the holidays in Fort Bend County’s most beautiful neighborhoods as a way of raising money to support our programs. With the help of professional decorators and florists, homeowners decorate their homes for Christmas and open their doors to the public. This year, we are planning an in-person tour. Guests purchase tickets to tour the homes and admire the talents of the decorators and florists and the homeowners’ personal style.  This is one of Child Advocates of Fort Bend’s largest fundraising events. Ninety-four percent of the proceeds go directly toward services for children.

Are the homes all in the same neighborhood?
No, we vary the neighborhoods each year. Our 2023 homes are in Imperial, Sugar Creek, Sweetwater, Riverstone and Sienna.

Tickets for the 2024 Christmas Home Tour go on sale November 1.  Get Tickets NOW!

Tickets will be available online beginning November 1, 2024.

Tour hours are Friday, December 6th from 10am-4pm and 6pm – 9pm AND Saturday, December 7th from 10am – 4pm

Yes.

The tour is self-paced, and homes may be visited in any order during the event but cannot be revisited. At each home you will be greeted by volunteers who will share details about the property including special décor and stories of the collections.

The tour is designed to provide an engaging experience for adults. Well-supervised children are welcome, but those age 3 and over, must have their own ticket. Children must be carried or held by hand while touring the homes. Because of risk to private property, strollers, backpacks for children, are not allowed inside the homes.

No smoking, eating or drinking is allowed inside the homes. Please silence all mobile devices before entering a residence as calls distract other guests and take away from the ambience of the tour. No pets, pictures or videotaping are permitted.

There are no restrooms available.

The tour will take place rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable.

The tour takes place in private residences rather than public space. Therefore, the tour is not handicapped accessible but we do have handicapped parking at each home.

For information on sponsor levels or to become a sponsor go to the sponsorship page or contact Tarina Sheridan via email at TSheridan@cafb.org or at 281-344-5109.

We select homes in many different ways. Often they are referred to us through interior decorators, friends of the agency, or we are contacted directly by the homeowners. To be considered, the homeowners must enjoy decorating elaborately for Christmas and be open to the public viewing their home. CAFB staff will tour the home and determine if the location and flow of the home is suitable for the Home Tour.

Do you like to decorate for Christmas? If you do and you are interested in showcasing your home on a future Home Tour, please be sure to attend the Christmas Home Tour and contact Tarina Sheridan at 281-344-5109 or TSheridan@cafb.org for more information about showcasing your home.
