Swearing-in Luncheon - Child Advocates of Fort Bend
Swearing-in Luncheon

The Swearing-In Luncheon is a celebration for newly-sworn-in CASA and CAC volunteers who have completed the pre-service training provided by Child Advocates of Fort Bend.  The luncheon is held quarterly usually a week after training ends and following the Swearing-In Ceremony that morning at the courthouse in the Fort Bend County Justice Center.  The luncheon is a celebration of volunteers completing their training and they are welcome to invite family members and friends to celebrate with them.  The entire Child Advocates of Fort Bend staff attends to meet and recognize the volunteers.  In addition to giving the volunteers their graduation materials, they also hear about other ways to get involved with the agency and offer their time, talents and outreach.  Representatives from the Board of Directors, Friends Council, Marketing and Event, Voices For Children and Legislative Advocacy Team discuss various volunteer opportunities.

CAFB adheres to a strict Zero Tolerance for Child Abuse Policy in our practices and operations.
