Child Abuse Prevention Collaborative (CAP-C)
The Fort Bend Child Abuse Prevention Collaborative (CAP-C) is a county-wide alliance of over 40 organizations in Fort Bend County, dedicated to prevention child abuse before it starts. Led by Child Advocates of Fort Bend, the initiative represents a strategic shift from a focus on intervention and recovery toward proactive prevention.

Fort Bend TBRI® Collaborative
The Fort Bend TBRI® Collaborative brings together local agencies to provide training on Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®), an attachment-based and trauma-informed approach for supporting vulnerable children. The collaborative hopes to equip child welfare professionals, volunteers, teachers, juvenile justice professionals, and others who come into contact with youth in need with tools and techniques for healing, fostering trust and addressing the needs of children who have experienced trauma.
